Keep Calm and Carry on Teaching
Teacher burnout is a very real risk in our profession. This one-day workshop has four important components:
- Create your calm – strategies for replenishing your energy and practising some self-care
- Start your day calm – tips and tricks for classroom preparation and organisation to make life run smoothly
- Maintain a calm classroom – strategies for behaviour management to help keep everyone on an even keel
- Restore calm – a look at some ways to calm things down after any ‘hiccups’, with a focus on restorative practices to help rebuild relationships.
